Our shop did many restorations in the later years. Many repaints before that.
Standards have went way up since the 80s along with costs and product quality.
I have read through this thread and do get a chuckle when I hear ( cut and buff ) .
Car owners do not really understand the time and labor involved.
This pair here i took many hrs on. It took awhile to get my hands and arms back to normal afterwards.
