Iguanas don't normally get that big.
(although ideal conditions can get certain species to 6 ft)

...and they don't normally bite.

...but when they turn red around the head area, they are not happy and can snap.

They will usually snort and/or hiss first.

They have smallish teeth but can clamp on pretty good and pulling a finger out can scrape off some flesh.
