At some time someone put a 276 long legger in it.as for the kph,, my street 383 clicks into high gear at 100 mph. 323s

163 KPH is nothing to brag about. Those who know Mopars (and beer) know they can be very long legged cars.

Even with 2.76s and 28" tall G70x15s, that calculates to 5600+ rpm. Do you really believe a 440 magnum will still pull 1000-1200 rpm PAST the power peak, against probably 300 horsepower worth of Aero drag (not to mention rolling friction, etc.). Sorry, I sure don't. But then I'm very skeptical of ALL anecdotal high speel stories.
It's just a fun old timer story.
I agree it didn't happen. It's sitting on 14" magnums, which are probably original. Drum brake car.

It is a really neat car. It's too bad it's too far gone to save.
Update; the good brother got mad about the deal because the guy chiseled off the one remaining 440 badge... he made him go get it
