Finishing touches approaching on my '63 330 MW restoration. Does anyone know, or have, or access to a Survivor ? Was the radiator support blacked out, behind the grill, on the Factory cars ? I thought it would look good for some contrast, but the paint also looks nice. Any, and All input appreciated, Thanks !

No... the front radiator support area is the same color as the body.....I like your car !!!

If the car was a light color the core support was blacked out

On all '63s, or only Max Wedge Models ?
I can't answer that. I think all light colored cars were blacked out. I have some pictures of my 62 Dart in beige that has the factory mat black out. My white 64 Plymouth Savoy had the core support blacked out. both cars were LA built cars.

here are a couple of pictures of a LA built 64 Savoy black out

I have, what was originally, a teal '63 330. Was a slant 6 car and definitely had the core support blacked.

BTW, is your hood and scoop an original aluminum piece? Looks very clean!

I started going through some old pics I had of the tear down, and found this one. It didn't stand out, and was faded pretty well, but it was there. Thanks to All who Threw me a line !
