Hello everyone, my name is Julian Locatelli I’m 46 years old and I have owned my dream car for six years. I was born in Brazil from to Italian parents and came to the US to Surf 25 years ago I met my wife and in California I dropped my anchor. My first Mopar love came when I saw a dented orange car on reruns of Kojak in the 80s in Brazil. Didn’t know what it was until I came to the US as Plymouths did not make its way to Brazil, but we had dodge darts. My car is in 1969 road runner tribute to my favorite NASCAR racer Richard Petty With some of his sponsors decals on it From his 1970 superbird ( Yes I was probably the only Italian/Brazilian kid that was arguing with his grandpa and father to turn on NASCAR instead of formula one on Sunday ) And the “south of the border redneck” was born That’s what my wife’s family calls me because I grew up hunting fishing and learn to speak English by translating Johnny Cash and Jimmy Buffet music… Yep a Brown tattooed and probably the only surfer that listens to country, the shittier the better lol
I purchase it with an electrical problem and missing parts from the engine. His name is “Solo cup” And I know I’m supposed to name my cars with a lady’s name because we all fell in love with them but, I thought B body stands for voice Cars and he is a lot like me, big, loud, Obnoxious and drinks a lot he It’s a

*4speed A883 hurst pistol grip with very short low first gear with a fourth gear that will bog the engine below 70 mph so likes to cruise around 80mph
*273 gears

Sorry to hear about your friend, getting to be a regular occurrence as we get older...
Since I'm from central California I don't know of any LA area cruise info, though for me I enjoy most makes so multi brand gatherings are good, I enjoy the people as much as the cars.... I suspect someone local will be along and might be able to provide local car club info..
