New find!

I think the swap improved both cars

Got the new Glen Ray radiator installed and put a few miles on it. Waiting for the shop to get an opening to pull out the 1/4 panel then I can install the replacement extension and tail light. For an untouched 67 it runs great, the trans shifts nice and firm. The 2.94 gears keep it from really ripping, but it will be nice on the Highway. Has a power steering leak that I need to attend to, then I need to get the dash cleaned up and reassembled.

Started rebuilding the instrument cluster. The speedometer came apart, so I’m sending it to Todd’s Restorations, but the housing cleaned up great and the new bezel look great

I am really liking your R/T, I so like the original paint etc. The dash looks great btw.

Yeah the plan is to clean up the dash, replace the seat foam in the buckets, new headliner, re-dye the carpet and maybe a new vinyl top but going to leave the patina outside.

WTG on the score! I like the patina of the original paint, glad you're not covering it up!

Love the R/T and the Charger. Nice wheels, but then I am probably biased.

I wasn’t sold on them when they were on the Coronet when I bought it, and only put them on the Charger to clear the 13” front rotors when I did the brake upgrade, but as soon as I backed it out of the shop and looked at it I was “yeah that is the look I want”

Christmas in April!! Pulled the seats out to replace the foam as the carpet is covered in crumbled cheddar cheese…. The upholstery is unbelievably good condition and is original. Went ahead and pulled the carpet and found absolutely mint floors and 2, yes 2 broadcast sheets! Also looking at the glove box I can still make out that it has service at 10649 miles in February of 1969. In my 40 plus years in the hobby this is the cleanest most unmolested car I’ve had the honor of owning. Honestly bought it sight unseen because the price was right. I never expected it to be this good. I was gonna clean it up and get it 100% mechanically and flip it but I think it’s going to end up a keeper. Interestingly the broadcast sheets have different sequence numbers, but both have the same shipping number that matches my fender tag. I’m not 100% on 67 Broadcast sheets from the LA plant. Is this normal?$

That's awesome! Get those under something like plexiglass or in a clear plastic holder to keep them flat.

The weather is finally starting to cooperate. Rebuilt the 1/4 glass window regulators, pulled the heater/AC box, sent the cluster to Todd and started cleaning the dash. It’s coming out much better than I expected. Dyed the factory carpet and replaced the seat foam in the front buckets. And I found a 67 dual snorkel air cleaner it’s a 49 state one, but it’s better than the 68 Unsilenced one I had

Spent a little time cleaning the engine compartment while I wait on my cluster.

Not bad for an hour worth of cleaning. Looks pretty good and is basically an untouched original.
