Hello everyone. thanks for the approval! i just was lucky enough to pick up a beautiful '65 two door hardtop Coronet. I spent all day cleaning it and its so nice! My first quest is to try and find a back seat, as the prior owner removed it for whatever reason. My kids and wife love it.

Sweet, congrats! Lots of info and great people on this board.

Greetings from northern Michigan.

Wow that's a nice car. I'm guessing since it's been upgraded to a 440, he removed the back seat for all that weight reduction to shave a millisecond off of his track time

Or someone needed a back seat to complete their project and made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Welcome from the left coast. 65 owner too but Coronet here. You are in Mopar Collectors Guide's hood.

Welcome nice looking Coronet

that's the same thing I thought. they also felt the need to remove the heater and full wiper system. :BangHead:

Luckily, I have both of those to put back. Im just wondering why???

whats up with the back seat thieves? I need to figure out which chrome center covers fit on the rear wheels. they are both 15", but the fronts dont fit on the back. I know someone reading this will laugh at me, but Im just getting into this.

thats so awesome! Thank you. Im reading up on voltage regulators at the moment. The Prior owner left me with a brand new 100A alternator, vs the 60A it has in it. With two electric fans, its probably not a bad idea to upgrade the alternator. I just want to make sure i do it correctly.

Welcome from Missouri!! I love 65 Coronets. Nice car!!
