I recently purchased a 22" radiator from ECP and having trouble finding a fan shroud that is readily compatible. I've reached to their customer support but am currently awaiting a response.

Does anybody know what year/model fan shroud would work on a radiator like this? The product description page states that the radiator is designed to work with most Mopar radiators and is even predrilled to accept the most common one but falls short of mentioning what one that is!

In my 68 B body it originally had a 22" radiator. I replaced the stock rad with one from Griffin. The only stock shroud I could find that bolted right up was for an A-body. So, check on summit or classic industries for a re-pop A-body shroud. I did need to dremel a bit on the lower rad hose opening to slightly increase clearance for that hose - no biggie.

On my 26" aluminum, it didn't have holes that lined up w my factory shroud, but did have a full length flange. I laid it on my workbench face down, then laid my shroud over it and drilled holes through the flange where my shroud holes were. Worked great. I'd "think" the 22" would be similar

@pnora I've been looking at the Mancini shrouds, they seem to be one of the few places that publishes dimensions for mounting holes. The 68-69 A-Body shroud seems like it might work with minimal modification and @68 Sport Satellite mentioning being able to use one on his car is good to know.

Your radiator is 22 inch for 1968 B body.

Your shroud is 26" for 1966 to 1969 B body

Ps even 440 B bodies had 22 inch radiator unless equipped with factory air , Max cooling and / or an axle pkg

Educate me here. How do you tell the difference between a 2 core and 3 core radiator?

Thanks pnora! My next question is; I purchased a 3" fan shroud with bracket kit from Mancini Racing. Having trouble figuring out how the bracket nuts are installed.

What radiator do you have and what fan shroud kit did you buy?

I have a 22" radiator; and it appears that it is spot welded on the top corners to the support brackets. Even if I pull the radiator, I can't think how to get the factory nuts in place the mount the shroud brackets (brand unknown) (purchased from Mancini Racing).

Well thanks for all your help. When I went to take the photos, I tried it again (a little different) and it worked. The nut is off set; the larger end goes in first and with the help of a screw driver, I pushed the short end in. Again, Thanks!348.jpg350.jpg
