I know my daughter enjoys watching sports more than I do. I offered to take her to a local high school football game as just a fun fall outing. We chose to go to her old high school, Pine Creek, here in Colorado Springs. She was a cheerleader there all four years. The game was a defensive battle for the first half. Zero to seven against us. In the second half PC came alive and won the game by a large margin. A lot of the game was her watching the cheerleading team and doing the cheers and motions (while she was still seated.) The cheers hadn't changed at all. They still did one cheer she invented. Afterward, it was off to In and Out Burgers. Perfect night for football. It's getting cold here, high 30's at night. Just right for football.

It was great fun. If possible attend an HS football game. It beats watching the pros.

I played defensive end...... in a championship game, I intercepted an early screen pass and took it 60 yards to the house with both my parents in attendance.......we went on to win 55-6 ....... great memory, it was my "Al Bundy" moment

last weekend I was at a wedding and channeled my best Al Bundy
