For sale is a very unique 1966 Dodge Coronet. This was Grandma's car that is now sporting a newer fuel injected hemi. Originally this was a Texas car and always garaged. There is absolutely no rust on it. The body has never been touched. The paint is all original and has the perfect amount of patina. There is no body damage and honestly it's one of the straightest and cleanest original cars we've seen. The motor and transmission were removed from 2016 Dodge Challenger with only 16k miles. Since the swap 4k additional miles have been added to it. The Challenger was rear ended and totaled by the insurance company. The drivetrain was untouched and we've never had an issue with anything. The motor is all stock with the exception of the air intake, headers and tune. It has 3" dual exhaust with electric cutouts. It sounds amazing with the cutouts open or closed. The transmission is the factory 5 speed automatic out of the Challenger. The engine harness is a brand new aftermarket one. This was a lot easier and cleaner looking than modifying the factory one. It has an aluminum radiator and electric fans that keeps it cool all day long. The suspension is all new and is just factory replacement parts. The front and rear have also been converted to 4 wheel disc brakes. The rear end is a Quick Performance 9" with limited slip. There is also subframe connectors that have been installed to stiffen up the body for the additional horsepower and torque. The interior is all stock with the exception of new carpet and floor mats. Both are oem quality replacements. The trunk is just like the rest of the car and has never been touched with the exception of a new mat. Also the glass is in good shape and everything else on the car works as it should. The only thing we never did figure out was getting the factory gauges to work with the new transmission. We just used the torque app on our phone and plugged it into the obdII port. Overall this is just a super solid, all original car that runs like a new one. I have uploaded a video on YouTube of the car running. Just copy and paste the link below to view this. Thanks for checking out the listing and have a great day.

Welcome from Alabama, a 5.7 I assume.

Great looking car. Are you sure drivetrain is from a 2016? Last 5 speed auto was 2014 I think. The 2016 auto was an 8 speed.

The motor is out of a 2016 Dodge Challenger. The transmission is out of a 2009 or 2010 Dodge Ram. I don’t have the paperwork with me at the moment for the exact year of the transmission.

Ok. Ad says the transmission is out of the Challenger as well so wasn't sure if the 5 was a typo and should have been an 8.
