Awesome man thanks. The story is my neighbor and his buddy just bought this 70 RR and the guy they bought it from told them it was made in Canada! lmao!!!

The car was in Oregon? or nor cal some where not sure yet. Maybe a member here? Was stripped down on the outside missing front grill bumper etc 383 was pretty hopped up from stock at leas has a demon 1050 on it we tried to get it to run but the fuel pump couldn't get any gas into the bowls.

Anyway the dash was all stainless steel with aftermarket gauges, made me sad to see that since the rally style is one of my favorites.

Still had it's 727 but the shifter was changed to a b&m and the floor rigged up to make it work. that's about all I could see in the dark. The friend is taking it home to restore he has a 340 70' cuda already that took him 5 years to do. Showed him my 383 so he could see where to find the sequence numbers from his tag.

.

not so much LOL . the numbers up top very well could be special order sales codes. usually there is a "U" third row up from the bottom , in the second spot that is blank , which depicts "built to USA specs" . i have no clue why it is blank. it seems odd there so many numbers up top. there is no "en1 or en2" which usually means there is another tag.but it looks like that one has never been removed nor was there a second tag

Well if you figure it let me know before I go and make fun of them lmao

Lynch rd plant maybe upper numbers are axle code and something else? Seems lynch rd did weird stuff with their tags.

Found this looks like gate numbers? 19116 = ran through gate 19 116th car to go through on the line? numbers below are axle and trans etc?

Nothing unusual about that tag, those are numbers used only on Lynch Road built cars and LR cars have the least amount of info regarding options than any other assembly plant.
