i have a 67 Dart that was a standard shift car and now i have a automatic transmission putting in a Hurst promatic on the floor how do i hook up the wiring for the starter relay so it doesn’t start in gear ? only in park or neutral

You may need an auto start relay.
The terminal beside the yellow wire goes down to the Trans neutral switch. Center pin if there's 3 down there

Post #2 is correct.... only 2 cents i'll add is that you can still buy a three pin pigtail for the neutral switch to make the job a little easier. For a single pin, you wont need a pigtail, cuz it's threaded.

the car was a stick shift car and there was no pig tail but my automatic transmission has the adapter but no 3 pin wiring I have to figure out a way to run the wire from the shifter to the neutral safety switch on the firewall

I don't have an email but it has nothing to do with the shifter.
Shifters come with possible places to put switches, but you don't need to do any of that.
The diagram I posted will resolve your question

okay so run a wire like in the picture you sent me and to which terminal on the relay ? THX for your HELP

There should be a thin yellow wire going to the bottom of the relay. Right beside that.
If you still have the original 4 speed relay, that terminal will not be there, but it it will be shorted to ground on the relay housing.
So you will need to get an automatic relay.

Lower, right hand terminal goes to transmission safety switch.

i have a automatic relay on the car now

for one it’s mounted on the fender well and i will have to remove some of the plastic wire loom and trace it to where it goes
