Wheel Wednesday

Beautiful combo by the way

where did you get the wheels ?
or when ?
what sizes & backspacing etc. ?

repops of the old Kelsey Hayse recall wheels (I assume)
are they the Warrior W23/from Speciality Wheels (?)

I saw them years ago exclusively on Classic Industry site
they aren't (I assume) being made anymore or someone else is making them
I couldn't find them now

I just saw some really good looking, teo me anyway
(old style, kidney lake style) www.etmags.com production wheels
E-T Wheels Indy, Sebring & Dragmaster
they ain't cheap, but compared to some not all that bad $300++
custom backspace with 2 pc wheels available
(both pin-on 'real knock-offs' or bolt on/lugs, that you can get a knock-off center cover)
'claim 2 weeks lead time' on customs
many in polished or cast centers/with polished rim,
they offer a machine finish too for an extra charge ($50 each IIRC)

I like these Indy wheels

Rim ET Indy Cast-18x7 1pc for lug.jpg

& these Sebrings too
Rim ET Sebring Cast 17x8 2pc lugs.jpg

Dragmasters, are a tad bit more modern for my taste, but still nice style
if you like the old Halibrand look/Bonneville lake-style with kidney slots
Rim ET Dragmaster Cast 15x12 2pc.jpg

Thanks. I tried to find the Specialty wheels versions and had no luck.

Asked many companies if they would do it and finally found Curtis Speed in California who ended up making them.

They are 15x8 with 4.3 backspace and 15x10 with 5.4 backspace.

So rears are wider than what specialty made. Not sure what they had for rims but these are all aluminum. (And I had the fratzog added to the center cap).

Tires are Avon CR6ZZ dot road race that Diamondback added redlines to.
