Picture taken at Saskatchewan International Raceway 2004. End of season. The oldest running NHRA track in Western Canada. We switched to IHRA when NHRA wouldn’t let us run Junior Street Legal.
I owned all of these.
Car on the left is the 440 4 speed I am slowly getting done. It is back to GG1.
Red car is now owned by a young friend 440 auto now was a 318. Bought it from the original family. Guy bought it as a birthday gift for his wife. Problem it was AA1, which she didn’t like, so the dealership painted this new car PP1
Center car is LLI 383 auto, which I bought from the second owner, but knew the original owner. Had that car repainted and body work done. It went to California shortly after I bought the 4 speed.
PP1 white hat is a 383 auto that one of the boys owns. Also bought from the second owner through a body shop.
Last car had a few owners, DD1 383 . Dedicated drag car. Still have it.
XX1 and PP1 were driven to Aurora Missouri 1993 for the TDC meet. Got to look around at Ron Slobe’s. A good day.
1996 LL1 went to Bloomington Illinois for the Charger 30th.
2001 LL1 and PP1 we to Rapid City South Dakota for TDC meet.
2006 GG1 to 40th in Jefferson City Missouri.
2016 GG1 to Farmington and on to the Charger 50th in Detroit.

Yes the last car is a DD1 66. A dedicated drag car.
XX1 L car is in storage, along with the 67 318 auto we bought in 1970.

So that is where all the Chargers went! LOL There is a weird '66 Charger up here in London that comes to the occasional cruise night. It has the standard 318 Poly and 3-on-the-tree. Its full length console has a decorative plate on the area where the shifter would normally have been. I once found a '66 Coronet 500 in a London junk yard, equipped the same way, except it had the short console with the decorative "shifter delete" plate. In 1966, the console was standard equipment in a Charger or Coronet 500. In 1967, it became an option.

Guy in Minneapolis has a mauve 66 poly with 3 on the tree.
 
The last car looks more like a DD1 G automatic.
And the young friend that owns the red 318 is about 55 yrs old.

The picture is maybe 20% of the Chargers this 440 4 speed guy has owned!
The young friend is still younger, and you are absolutely correct about DD1.

From left to right- 14.80 , 12.90? , 15.90 , 12.50 , 10.80. Max, not all on that day.
 
Our first Charger we bought on October 16th 1970. 318 auto. We are the 3rd owners, and have the certicard. 1972 a milk delivery truck crinkled the passenger front fender. My wife gave us a Christmas present by paying an EXTRA 150.00 to finish painting the exterior of the car in 72 Chrysler Winchester grey.
Car is complete, bumper is original. Took the picture on May 4th 2023.
