I don't think this will get 'restored'. It is what remains of Richard Petty's original 1965 drag racer, #43 Jr. It used to be a Barracuda.
After an accident involving a fatality, Richard pulled the engine and scrapped the car, burying it in a ravine. 35 years later, when Maurice Petty was digging up the ground to lay foundations for a larger shop, it was uncovered.
A second Barracuda was constructed, it still exists.
I've always wondered (since "they" started mandating kid's seats be backwards) if the disorientation that occurs when riding like this causes permanent issues with brain function.
That certinly could explain a few things.....like not being able to make "change" for a $3.05 purchase when handed a $5 and a nickel.
