We don't have racing fuel in our neck of the woods, but thankfully we have Non-Ethanol fuel readily available at many of the local stations. Octane ratings vary from mid grade (85 min) to high test (91min).

I've been buying 100 octane low-lead avgas for about 7 bucks a gallon for a couple years now. The exhaust smells good again.

I agree! The look of an engine can make or break a motorcycle. I also do not like a bike that the handle bars are below the gas tank. If I wanted to lay down, I'd stay in bed.
