Growing up there were often 30 or more big bikes in the yard. When everyone took off there was a LOT of cursing going on as the guys all tried to get the things to start with the kick pedal...lol. Good times.

I jump down on mine like that once, but with the other foot. The handlebars were turn the other way and I didn't kick it hard enough. It threw me up and my knee came up under the handlebars and I thought I was going to die!!! LOL
