Quite a few knob gags in this thread.It has to be either cocked or uncocked to come out properly but again, the fsm explains it.

I did see the video indicated he was working on a ‘73. I didn’t know there was a key/no-key difference here, in particular when they appear nearly identical.That lock is for later models with no key, but I found a video that explained how to take out a lock that has a key, but when I tried it, this happened.
