5" Backspacing

Thats a lot of back spacing. May have leaf spring clearance issues unless you've moved them in-board. I'm assuming these are for the rear? I'm running 8" w/4.5 back spacing all around and there's less than an inch of clearance between the side wall and the springs that are in stock location.

As far as I know, they're only available with 4 1/4 backspacing. But you could have a shop like Stockton wheels change the backspacing for you.

I have 15” x 8” w/ 5” backspacing on my black steel wheels, & have over an inch to my leaf springs (275/60/15 tires). So I know the spacing will work, currently have 2 sets of wheels & the Magnum 500’s have 4-1/2” BS (275/60/15 tires won’t fit) Running 255/60/15 tires now. Want to put 275 width on the Magnum 500’s but they rub o/s wheel well even after turning the trim

Here’s a couple of photo’s of each

That sucks about Stockton closing their doors. They made me a pair of 15x8 5" backspaced steel wheel several years ago.

I went with American Racing aluminum Magnum 500s on rear I went with 15x8 4.5 BS with Cooper Cobra 275/60R15 had minor rubbing on outside wheel lip so I had to have them turned down 3/8”. Went with 15x7 4.25 BS WITH 235/70R15 on front. The fit is great, and the look is awesome !!!

Whether a 5" backspace works or not kinda depends on which rear under which body style.
I've got some 15x8 1/2 centerlines with 10.5 slicks and 4 7/8 b.s.
They fit great as is on my 69 runner, but need a .300/.350 spacer on my 62.
If you are sure you want/need 5"bs, you can go to summits wheel site, specify dia/width/bs, and everything that meets criteria will show up.

I'm new to this site and have a wheel question as well. Maybe should o a separate post but I have been looking at 14" and 15" Chrome magnum 500's to replace the Kelsey Hayes rusted wheels on the 66 Charger I just purchased. Trying to stay mostly stock but I don't have the nicer hub caps it came with (maybe) and think the red line tires might look pretty good on this vintage. With the bullet center hubs. Which appear to be available. Any suggestions appreciated as to tire size, vender, tires, etc. Car is white with red interior. Edit: not kelsey Hayes....Keystone.

Welcome to the site Mike! Say hello in the welcome wagon if you haven't.
First, personally, i wouldn't spend ten cents on 14" anything. 15" or larger, depending on what you want to do.
I'm assuming your KH wheels can't be blasted, cleaned up and painted. So if you want steel wheels that look like stock, wheel vintiques make stock looking steelies, in 15x6,7,8, and 10
Or, you could try a boneyard for 15x7s from an old diplomat, and the like, from seventies/eighties.
Redlines look great, but are CRAZY expensive. If you must go that way, get em from Diamondback tire, cokers red lines have had issues.

Of course, if you are willing to personalize your ride with non stock wheels, there are thousands of choices.
Easiest place to shop that I have found is Summit.

The rusted wheels I spoke of are chrome look-a-likes for magnum 500's. Since I doubt I would find original caps for the 66, which would be 14", I was thinking the Chrome magnum 500's would look good. I looked on Summit and their selection was not what I was looking for although if I went with aluminum wheels rather than chrome they would be ok. Either would look good I think but the chrome now on the car do have a nice look except for the rust. They would need to be rechromed. I believe I posted on the welcome wagon forum. Thanks for the tips on the tires/wheels. I was hoping to keep the speedo somewhere close to accurate mph but maybe the 15" would not change it that much.
