Bud Light had a VP of marketing that decided to change their image to get away from the frat house humor. Worked out really well for Coors Light and others.

The Moderators here do a great job and I appreciate all that they do. I don't put any blame on them, they are obligated to keep the peace for the sake of the whole forum and are compelled to consider all complaints that come in.

Speaking certainly for myself, I am not trying to make the forum fit only for snowflakes and thin skinned folks. But when content steps over the line in decency, then the post will likely be deleted. As a new moderator, I have been struggling with when to react to stuff. I mentioned before that the issue is this forum is available to many audiences out there, including young teenagers, etc. There are things posted that are funny as hell, but perhaps only appropriate for a small group of guys at a bar. Honestly, though, it is not easy to choose what should stay and what should not - I'm still learning...

It's similar for disagreements. Disagreements help to discuss stuff and get various points of view. But some people feel like they need to disagree while name calling, and there is no reason for that. Sometimes, we can agree to disagree, and that's where we should leave it.
