About to own 69 coronet 440….what oil weight?

I put about 9 pounds of oil in my big blocks.

I've been a 5000 mile guy since the 80's and my 1.4 t says "not to exceed 10,000".

Never bought into 3000 or less and never had an issue.

EVIC on the 1.4 has been telling me to change about 9200-9500.

Essentially, an unanswerable question, sorry. Too many variables. And the differences are basically negligible, unless you’re talking the difference from 0-30 to straight 40. Change regularly, and use a quality filter. Proper crankcase ventilation removes a lot of contaminants.

Geeze that seems like alot! I generally use around 4KG.
