took the Dakota for a ride through the woods......4WD works......and it appears to have a sure grip! ("anti-spin" differential on the tag) makes annoying noises around turns, lays 2 ruts in the dirt, I'll jack it up and spin the tires for confirmation

Annoying noises around turns, try a bottle of additive first.

Brought the Plymouth home from the exhaust shop. I was going to put new mufflers on myself, but the last guy I had do the exhaust did such a poor job I just could not bring myself to reuse it. This guy put Dynomax super turbo mufflers and di a great job building the pipes. Car sounds great.

I figured it was only right to take her out and see fireworks, threw in The Beach Boys 8 track because it seemed the most appropriate. Happy Independence Day everyone!

Also stopped under the Fort Wolters entrance, so many young men between 1964 and 1975 went under that entrance, so many never got to become men, never forget freedom isn’t free

I've had a few really nice systems in my life. The one in my Coronet is the best you can buy for a few hundred bucks. Sounds good enough to me.

She always turns in the fastest times (Giddy up, giddy up 409),

I made enough of a contribution to hey-o, time for a little fun. We have great down town with some great little shops, one of them is a new butcher shop so I thought I’d stop by. This car is fantastic, and really a testament to a properly built hot rod. Cruise down the highway? Sure. Idle around town like a Honda civic but waaay cooler? Why not. Drop a gear and do awesome burnouts? Well even though it tootles around town like a Honda civic it is a muscle car after all
