I really do believe that the future of the old musclecar hobby moving forward is to install modern power plants and some creature comforts in our old iron. The desire for stock muscle cars will die off as we grow old and die off.
X2.
I've never put a car back together that didn't fit me, for me. The next group coming up aren't going to be interested in working on a car, they'll want to get in and go, if they buy at all. Little maintenance and I don't even want to screw around with a carburetor anymore, I'll guarantee you 95 percent of them won't either. Plugs changed, almost never, parts under the hood, all over the place to buy and almost unlimited HP in a car that will idle all day with the A/C on, in traffic. All that in your favorite body style. I'm not betting ten cents on this next group coming up, as a whole. I don't believe there'll be enough of them to cover all the cars out there that everyone is saving hoping to get house money for.........
