When I was a little kid, I had red hair. My dad told me, when people asked, where did you get your red hair to say, from the milk man down in Alabama. I was conceived in Alabama, but born in Illinois. My dad was a hoot and not a redhead.

Funny you mention that, our milk man spent entirely to much time at our house delivering milk. He even taught our dog to sit up. He used to take that ice pick and chip off a piece of ice for each one of us kids when he came down our street. Haven't thought of that in years, thanks for the trip back!!

I vaguely remember our milkman in Libertyville, just the truck, actually but I do remember those bottles.
