Anybody ever see videos of Dave’s Auto Center on Facebook?
I think he’s in Utah.
He seems to have a really efficient operation. I wonder what kind of lead time he has.
I have friends whose 70 Challenger will have been in paint shop jail for 5 years next Feb. Sitting in primer and still needs hood and front fender work before painting. And he’s paid the guy the money up through painting. He’s talking to someone else now about picking it up and finishing it. Ridiculous.
Paying someone up front and waiting 5 years is common. I'm not saying anything, but just imagine what I'm thinking....That sucks. Sadly, that story is all too common.
Note to self - words never to be said to a machine shop or body shop guy.No hurry at all!
I think the fumes affect a lot of paint and body guys
