SR 71. One of the first programs I worked in my career was rebuild of the flight control actuators on this aircraft. The exotic materials and no elastomeric seals was impressive as all of the drawings were 1957-1958.
I developed the processes for machining new components and testing the finished actuators at 660 degrees F.
 
Some would call it a towel rack, but actually, it’s a fully functional wing to create stability and downforce over 100 mph.

I was referring to the background structure that looks like part bridge and part "leaning tower".

Doesn't seem to be physically possible outside of the world of MC Escher
 
Cassens had a big terminal by the plant in Fenton. It's sad that the dozens of trucks and drivers all vanished when the plant closed.
yep pulled out of there a few times, I started in Toledo, transferred to Sheffield, when they closed Sheffield I went to Detroit
