Vettes must split like that. Had a Vette in town split in town like that, he was moving pretty fast he was in driver seat 200' down the road walked away.
Those are the style of bucket seats that Chrysler Canada used in my 1964 Dodge Polara 4-door hardtop with optional Sport Package interior with bucket seats and console. The back rest is made so that is does not fold ahead, as it does not need to in 4-door. Rear seat cushions are bolstered up to imitate bucket style to match front seats. 2-door Sport Package cars got regular Polara 500 bucket seats. These cars were not "500's", so did not get special "500" swirled exterior side trim.
I miss those days with my grandson,so much fun.Grandpa’s little buddy has grown up. He works out everyday.

I don’t know much about Vettes but didn’t a lot of them have X frames as well as other GM’s? Just never looked that stout to me in a side impact.Vettes must split like that. Had a Vette in town split in town like that, he was moving pretty fast he was in driver seat 200' down the road walked away.

C1 Vettes pretty sure X framed. C2s think were perimeter frames.I don’t know much about Vettes but didn’t a lot of them have X frames as well as other GM’s? Just never looked that stout to me in a side impact.
