I tried asking that a while back...the answers are quite funny.

I'm taking the 65 out today. It's 42 and overcast, but no snow and the roads are clean. It looks great, but no thanks!! LOL

Yes!! Early 70's

The bell bottoms were just starting to make an appearance during my freshman year at Penn State in fall of '71, but by 1974 everyone but my future wife was wearing them. She stood out from the pack, dressing like a classy older woman of the era, reeled me right in.
