4 hrs round trip ... for crap. guy said turns but tight.. ok something to work with.. get all the way out there and its locked up solid. and all the other stuff he said he had.... crap tryed to pass off a set of 518's as max wedge because thay had 4 VC bolts... ug
was a nice day for a drive in the country tho.

well... 413 .060 over .... engine #4 and got a 2nd trans for the wagon. got a good used fuel tank. ya i was amazed too. .. i missed my self imposed deadline of one year to be up and going. thats ok tho. she will be better for it.
picking up the new seats and down pipes first of the month. we working on the shop owners car for a bit (until i get it done) then its the wagons turn. o and the SC360... she turned out sweet....put a T10 in it and drove it home after 30+ years. got lucky on the mill still being good.
bad news... she sat all that time in a feild in Montana and had no rust on the body. after only a year here and sitting not driving it its starting to show where the paint is sun bleached off.... welcome to the rust belt.

o boy o boy.... got my manifolds. one more part of the puzzle. i am going to have the ugliest haul *** wagon. can't wait. will be using the .060 over 413 and trans (and a bunch of other stuff) i got from MAX426. he was a life saver on this build.

not a darn thing yet.... got to find the parts for the shop owners mustang i have to fix to use the shop.... damn fords and there one year only crap....
 
im retired MDOT and thay don't pay for beans. (good bennies tho) we pray for snow for the hrs. if there is one truck on the road all 4 of us have to be in the shop.$$$$ we used beet juice and pink rocksalt. no sinders. and ya could hear the trucks rust.. so no fixin on the dart today. indoor sports day.

well... somethings wrong. i put the mounts on the side i took them off the donor engine but it won't go. if i flip them it will move it back 4 inches. it looks like i have room and oil pan and soforth but then the mount will be basicly just hanging off the back of the pad on the K frame. the PS box has me wondering. seems real close. my brain don't work like it did before i got sick and i can't find my 65 service book. what am i missing?
it feels nice to be making headway tho. and i have to have it out of the shop for work in the morning
