Assembly line spark plug wires...Who was the manufacturer?

I've been trying to determine who was the manufacturer for the assembly line spark plug wires in 1973 was, specifically for a 440 if that makes a difference. I have searched the forums and do not see an answer. I know GM and AMC used wires made by Packard in the 60's and they were not labeled GM or AMC, only Packard. I do not have this same knowledge on Mopars. The reason I'm asking is the 2nd owner of my car installed a set of aftermarket wires on it but kept the box from these and there are a set of Standard wires in what I believe to be the correct colors and boot style in it. They are marked C3, my car is a late Febuary build so I'm a little stumped on both the possible date if it is C3 and who actually produced the wires for Chyrsler, any opinions on this?

I have a for sale ad for 2 NOS spark plug wires.
1 is from 1971 and the other from 1973 and what your looking for.
In the ad pictures you can see the initials "G. H." on the wires.
This may give you a clue on who the manufacturer is?

I always assumed Standard brand was a aftermarket only brand but as I'm moving on to the next steps of getting this car to run again, I remembered seeing them in the trunk. I believe the original wires were orange with orange plug boots and black boots on the distributor and when I saw these are that I cleaned one of them and noticed the C3 which in my mind could be March 73 or 83 potentially. This car only has 59k miles and is extremely assembly line correct and I wouldn't have thought it would have had 2 sets of wires installed on it but ??? I'll check out that link

I'll look for your for-sale post.... do you think yours would be assembly line correct or parts counter NOS, not sure if there is a difference on these wires but I have seen parts counter parts not exactly the same as assembly line parts? Any knowledge of, are assembly line 73 wires orange with orange plug boots and cap black boots, or would they be the same for 400 and 440 or possibly other engines? Do you know what engine yours are for? I just looked at them and mine are definitely not like these

I am not sure but it has the insulator already installed.
There is a full set of NOS 1973 dated spark plug wires for sale on EBAY!
So would these be considered over the counter or left over assembly line wires?
You need to find a survivor car with an original owner!

I'll look for those also, the 2nd owner on mine only changed a few very small things on mine but he seemed to keep all the original parts, that's why I'm questioning the ones I have.. It's always a puzzle but I love the challenge

After looking at their website the mystery deepens . For 1973 they do not list reproduction or replacement plug wires so I decided to goto a car I'm more familiar with, a 1st gen camaro. They list Packard as the correct reproduction wire which I know to be correct. I then changed the search to a 69 GTX and they list the correct (assuming) reproduction wires. I guess this could be due to the demand for later cars is lower and they couldn't justify running batches with later dates? or maybe they are different. Sounds like a phone call to them is my next step.

Good suggestion as that does sound very possible. I seem to remember Prestolite as an OEM supplier in the past. Here is a picture of one of the wires I found, to me the C3 would be a date code. Opinions?
