Good, funny read. An excellent study of people I live and work with. I would be a scalper and inventor.

One passage that changed my thinking some was the story told by a frugal old man who still farmed a quarter section on his A Deere.
He said: "I was working on a building and I ran out of nails. My first impulse is to go to town and buy nails, but instead I sit down. After a while the urge to go to town goes away and I remember that I have a pile old boards with nails in them. I removed and used those nails saving the money for new ones, and the fuel to drive to town. I also save the time I would've spent at the coffee shop because once you go to town, you have to drink coffee with the boys"

I had to change the oil, rotate tires and do my 50,000 mile maintenance.

It is a TIGHT fit in the garage, but it (just barely) makes it! Much better than laying on my back and dealing with jacks and jack stands! :p

I don't need to cleanup the spilled concrete. The next guy can just paint over it.
