I prefer my Dodge/Cummins W250... Took it out for a spin today in fact... after using it to move 2 engines, 2 transmissions, a 3:23 rear end, 2 engine stands, and 1 engine test stand up to my shop.

Neat engine, but their "history lesson" forgets the Hercules multi fuel engine:

I used to have an M35A2 and I can attest they will run on unleaded, diesel, heating oil, kero, UMO...even citronella (exhaust kept the bugs away working in the field!). It ran "better" on diesel...but did just fine on everything else, too.
