Still have about a foot on the ground at the moment, just not in the driveway. Warm weather is coming this week though, so we're hoping for a fresh snow free start. It won't be green here until late May, so right now I'll be taking advantage of the warm weather this week.
Ground was still frozen yesterday, so now was the time to move things up the hill to the shop out back, without creating huge ruts with the truck along the way.
When I built advertising displays, I did a lot of work for the old southwestern bell. We had a place we storied some of their old technologies. We worked on and sent old switch boards all over the country to different trade show for them. At one point, I was given old pieces of history I didn't know what to do with, I gave it away to collectors. It was pretty cool, I gave my last 1940's phone away this last move. At one point I had an old wooden phone booth by my bar. I've had a lot of fun in my life.

Dang, that's a goofy truck.
First attempts to load multiple cars on carriers. Very strange, I agree. That's what makes it fun to post, then and now. That was probably big time back then!

Not much is going to protect you if you hit a pole sideways at speed, just like I mentioned in the other thread about the Charger that hit a pole.
You're right. At some point, it's over, period! How many air bags can save you from a train doing 80....
