@ROB SHARON

I bought a carburetor air cable from him, no problem, paid via PayPal and communication was good. A week goes by and I ask in p.m. if he has tracking. No response. Another week goes by, no cable, no tracking. I send another p.m. which goes unanswered. I see he is still posting parts for sale.

Not me. He is not the best with responding to messages.

....and YES, I do have first-hand experience of that.

I have bought from Rob, you will get your part I believe. I did have the same problem but I did get my part. I think sometimes he misses sending it out do to selling on more then 1 site, which is not an excuse . I do not know him . Dave

He has probably seemingly like 100 (maybe exaggerated) parts listed,
separately or constantly at any one time, & he bumps them
probably can't even keep track of all of it, of his own stuff...

No excuse
need to communicate with your buyers...

Maybe we/Joey should have a limited amount of adds/for sale
like running a parts business off FBBO
any one person/private party, who's not an business advertiser/contributor,
Have a limit of adds or parts that you can run, at any one time (?)
Maybe a mod could suggest it...

almost every time I turn on my computer
& log into FBBO
several of his new adds pop up 1st, seems he's really pushing the parts hard

Still no good excuse,
to not communicate with the buyers, especially after they've already paid...

I don't know him either, seen a few I was interested in...

my $1.25

A little communication goes a long way. That's all I ask. He has too many irons in the fire and it shows.

He is running a business, and taking advantage of the free adds. No posts in any forum sections except forsale. Nothing wrong with that, he has parts that some might need or want. But after all these years of using this forum to make money. He can't support the forum and become a gold member. So I would only buy a part from him, if I really need it and could not find it else where. Even then I would find it hard to do.

I agree. I have over 6000 threads IGNOREd, the overwhelming majority of them are sales ads. I glance at the listing then IGNORE the thread. I hesitate to IGNORE any seller just in case they post a part for sale that I forgot that I needed.

The guy is NOT a gold member? Really ?
If that is true, it is really messed up. If a guy literally uses the site to make money but totally fails to support it, that is not cool.

I was wrong, after checking turns out he is a gold member. I apologize

I've talked to him on the phone a couple times, he's a real guy with real stuff. I ended up not buying what I was talking to him about not because of him but it just wasn't what I needed.

Figures. Still haven't heard a peep from him.

You buy, you get your stuff and then he disappears when you ask any questions about poor packaging, missing pieces shown in pictures, etc.

The last parts I purchased from him, I picked them up at his shop, without issue, so I can't comment on shipping.

He came and bought a Roadrunner I had for sale, he’s good people. Agree tho, he has too many parts listed to keep track of them all.

If I don't see parts by week 3 I am going to blow up his inbox every 2 hours lol.

Don’t blame ya. My stepdad bought some pentastars he posted and we been waiting for 2 weeks for them to come to our house…. and we still have not gotten them. REALLY hope @ROB SHARON messages me back tomorrow or on Saturday because I’m really looking forward to those parts since we paid good money for them. Right now I would NOT recommend.
