Best thing to do is consider replacing it with something more current....your choice of brand or as Ray Brenner at @HALLIFAXHOPS for his opinion. The pix of the rotor assembly looks like it came from a Prestolite Dual point distributor although I'm sure it's not but some type of magnetic pickup distributor. Replace it b4 it leaves you along the road somewhere ......just my opinion......Anyone have a clue as to what l have here. Says China and either a 6000 or 8000 number.

Likely a knockoff that you can't get parts for when you're on the side of the road,like Renton saidI just put points in a 66 Mustang Saturday.
Thanks. I'm using the one in my pictures, No issues so far after a few years with it on. Should I be using something different?seems like it. Do not use the recomeneded ballast on the street it will burn it up.
I think that's the picture as l just checked and both screws are there.You do know there's a screw missing on the transistor?
