My engine bay was painted black when I bought the car...fixed that crap right away. Now orginal 62 Luminous Cordovan Met.No, people will think he is a bow tie guy.
I like that..." One of None" think I'll barrow that , if you don't mind .
One of the reasons our car is back to GG1. My Mopar friends harassed me about the engine bay. I caved! My engine bay was painted black when I bought the car...fixed that crap right away. Now orginal 62 Luminous Cordovan Met.
yeah I understand, that why I'm asking for opinions..thanks...I may keep the orginal body emblems, and add a small sport fury emblem on the dash...thoughts ?It was always cool to yank /6 and 318's and put in 383, 426 and 440's. A fast Belvedere was always better than a slow Road Runner.
It was NEVER cool to rebadge a car.
People that rebadged cars were posers, pretentious or ignorant 'look at me' guys.

Get what your saying but what RustyTools isn't a look at me. Agree with SlingLow's post. Just having a little fun with a name change. It was always cool to yank /6 and 318's and put in 383, 426 and 440's. A fast Belvedere was always better than a slow Road Runner.

If you keep the 318 badges, it will most likely stop people with performance engines wanting to see if they can cross the intersection with a light before you do.There's badging because you like it and there's badging to make people think the car is something different than it is. I think you're in the first category.
Then, what about the guys that dump in the 440 and keep the 318 badge? What are they?
