So I volunteered to rebuild a buddy's AVS for him. Like any favor it comes with challenges. :) On reassembly I noticed the small spring that pushes the bowl vent was missing from his carb. I've searched for hours to try to find someone who sells them. Any ideas? Pic to show what I'm talking about.
As always thanks for the help.

Don’t stop looking but I’ll look to see if might have one. If I do then you can have it.
Cool, thanks. Out here in eastern Colorado the only junk yard that has older vehicles is a couple of hours away from me. That will be my last resort!

Some models didn't use that bowl vent. The AVS already has two large built-in bowl vents.

John,
You don't need that vent to work, it was just for emissions. AFB carbs are the same basic design & never used that type of vent. Bend the tab on the arm so that the vent remains closed & you are good to go..

Sorry, I wasn’t able to find one.

Easy to make. .027" spring wire. Two and a half tight wraps around a 7/32" drill shank. Cut end lengths to fit tab and carb notch should do it for ya'.
This one is heavier .032" SS wire I had laying around to try.
