I went through a vendor, Dantes? Maybe I was lucky, black '69 buckets, had them almost right away. Get a real pair of hog ring pliers and hog rings. Any farm supply store should have them.

Hog rings do vary somewhat.
I had a couple bags from Amazon that had a slight kink in the top. They were easier to crush and came out more round when going around a heavy wire on the frame.

If you can afford it, pay someone to do them. It’s hard to beat a man at his on game. Best money I ever spent.
