I am looking for rear tailgate glass for a 1971 Coronet wagon. Mine just shattered today and want to replace it
Any leads or help would be appreciated

I have one. For a glass that large, it will require a 2x4 frame inside the box. So time to pack, and some expensive shipping.
I have lost many sales due to shipping costs from the west coast.
Do we proceed?

What would you be asking for glass plus shipping?
I know shipping is expensive, that I understand

I have no idea what shipping would be without measuring the glass w/a packing safety perimeter. It will be oversize. Beyond UPS. Maybe beyond Fed Ex.
That might take a day or 2.

Well if you could let me know I'd be appreciative

Is a 72 the same? I have an intact replacement tailgate/glass for my 72 Wagon, seems like shipping it assembled would be safest, but rather heavy.
Let me know if the other one does not work if a 72 is a solution.
I really like that body style. It will be my tow vehicle for my 72 Dart track car.

I am a wagon ho. I parted many 71 up wagons to have spares for mine. Ones that I shouldn't have killed off.
Its not that I want much for the glass, it's the time to package it.
I am up front with this fact, as the transportation will exceed part price by a factor of 2-3 times.
Obviously, if everyone had one, you could get one locally.

From my understanding (which is limited) 71 to 78 is the same glass. So it might very well be the same

I fully understand the shipping thing. It's not my first time deal with shipping big and fragile stuff

I got the glass out to see overall size. With perimeter support, it will be 56×24×and at least 4"
I can start looking at approxamate shipping.
