When I happen to catch up with a long line of slow moving traffic, guess what's leading the pack?

Old man in a hat. For years I've said that any time there's a backup behind a slow moving vehicle it's an old man in a hat. Check it out. It's true more often than not.

Around here, it's the Honda CRVs that are cringle worthy. Every one of them has a blue hair behind the wheel and they're all doing 10 under the speed limit. Nowhere to go and all day to get there.

A close second is soccer mommy in her minivan who's too busy screaming at the devil spawn in the back seat to pay attention to what's going on around her.

And for the hat trick, we have the fat old bearded man in his safari hat rolling along in his F-150 with it's Yosemite Sam mud flaps. Good luck getting around him...as soon as you try, he turns into Speed Racer.

I just see the trend of them being owned by extreme liberals who think they are above the rest and have Karen tendencies. It’s kinda funny you see some that buy the car and then become like the commercials big into cycling and wearing tight ball crushing clothes with sweat bands and aviators.

Yep & stickers all over the rear windows of everyplace they've been
along with the 2008-12 O/B for P or 2016 C/C for P stickers,
green-peace stickers, PETA stickers, all a bunch of Poli stickers
mostly all of them are from down in the valley, going up to the highlands or ski resort
TOURISTS...
Or they are just a bunch of old blue haired old ladies, in 10+ y/o Awd cars...
99% of them types, up here are the wagons,
Old ladies (lesb. ?, I doubt it) that need driving lessons too...
You'll see a few ol' Brats (PU) still too, usually older men driving them
the kids/teens like the Impreza's WRX, get them sort of cheap, turbo'd boxer/rice rockets
some are pretty cool, AWD
some sort or 4wd or AWD is needed up here past, like Nov. usually,
or you won't get far...

they are like the Mudstain crowd, out here, cheap entry cars, lots of miles

You can immediately identify the tourists/flatlanders gays/dykes
with all the location travel stickers or some Rainbow **** on their car...

We have a Subaru dealer here, used to be down the hill in
Angles Camp, '49ers Subaru' L's wonderland/bikers heaven...
It's new ownership & at Sonora Ford now, the much older & younger crowd buys them,
keeps them for ever too...

Not my cup of tea, at all
but a few sportier ones aren't too shabby
seem to last a while, when not beat on...
Would I own one, No probably not...

The neighbor kid 'had' a couple of nicer versions of these,
99 below, he had a 2007 WRX Turbo'd coupe & STI turbo'd wagon too, same vintage
so he could get up-to the ski resort/reliably & back & not be in the ditch or snow banks

He's also an old VW Calif. Bug, Beetle style hot-rod fan, he's had a crapload of different cars
a car kid for sure, just a limited budget for a few years...
Now, he drives a nice mid 20teens MB 500K Kompressor, v8
low & wider tires & lil' pulley on the SC, thing handles great & runs WELL

I too have noticed the same issues with them in CT.

I'll also add that l've noticed BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Landrovers and Audi's are aggressive drivers who ride your *** or weave in and out of traffic like a video game.

My issue is the contractor Ford Truck guys who have to turn on all four headlights so that you can see them.
Even worse when they are pulled over parked on my side of the road facing traffic when they pull that stunt.
