Our poor dog has a welt the size of a chicken egg on her nose right now, after a black fly got her. They actually scoop out a piece of flesh and their saliva has an anticoagulant in it so you bleed a fair bit and swell up when they get you.
I tell people that now she looks French, not South African…

Got bit by a water mocassin when I was a yung'un

my rottweiler / blue healer got bit by a water moccasin , he doesn't look like he`s going to pull out of it , he`s about 14 yrs. old tho...

The old dropping a scorpion down the shirt trick,it's funny until Anna shows up and everyone is surprised! Then they get Anna Phillactic shock!

I don't know what that shock is , but they`d dam sure get something they didn't want , one way or another ..

I don't know what that shock is , but they`d dam sure get something they didn't want , one way or another ..

Nothing to joke around about, I've been hospitalized twice with anaphylactic shock. It damn near killed me both times. Very sudden, fast, immune system reaction that without quick treatment can put you 6 feet under. BTW, Not so famous, if you're hit by it, you aren't going to have the time or the strength to do ANYTHING to ANYBODY one way or another. I hope you never have to experience it.
