Made in USA Magnum 500 Wheels?

That's interesting.

I've got ford 15x7 and they fit on everything I own 66-74.

How in the world did you manage to enlarge the rear without cutting through the center?

I carefully used a die grinder and made the hole larger. I am not near any Ford rims to compare the difference in diameter with Chrysler. All of the Chrysler rims fit over my hubs, like I mentioned the Fords didn’t.

Pretty sure 440 4 speed is talking about the FRONT hubs not clearing.the hubcap hole.
The magnums clearly don't have a center register to interfere with rear hubs. And they are all lug centric.
(If it's a 15" Magnum, it's Ford or aftermarket).
If I'm wrong, sorry. Assuming again.

I know, I was thinking about mentioning that the Chrysler look a like Magnum 500’s were actually called road wheels if I remember correctly.

They were made by Motor Wheel, that also offered them aftermarket, branded as "Magnum 500".

I never was a huge fan of magnums..... but I sure would love to have a pair of Motor Wheel Fly's. Would REALLY love a pair of Flea's!

Thanks Hunter. I was looking at those but, to me, they don't quite seem to have the same look. I'd actually kind of prefer aluminum just due to the weight savings but would also really like to see them on a 68/69 Coronet. Might be worth considering.

Yearone has their own Magnums 500’s, but I think they’re bigger than 15 inch.

What size wheels are on the cars? Looks like maybe 15s on the tan/gold one and larger on the black car? On the tan car, they do look really nice. I would totally be ok with that look on my Bee.

Don’t know the size, the tan Coronet has the two piece Magnum 500’s, the black Coronet has the one piece Magnum 500’s. Both by American Racing.

Hi all,

So far, the only USA made wheels I've found (I think) are by OER at Jegs. Their webpage says made in USA. Wondering if anyone can confirm this OR if anyone knows of good quality 15x7 4.35" BS Magnum 500s. I've seen the various threads on different manufacturers, both good and bad, and so far this is the only one I can find that actually says "made in USA".

I bought a set Magnum 500s 15x7 and 15x8 for my 68 Bee from Classic Industries in the catalog it states made in USA when they arrived the boxes had a tape on them I peeled it back to see if they punctured or cut nope It said made in China so opened the boxes and on the backside of wheel it is China.I ended up keeping them other places did not have them in stock
