Title pretty much sums it up. I got a 66/67 383 complete , never torn down. Trans is still bolted to it, the way I bought it. Had a gent contact me about selling it. What's a rebuilder & trans worth? Btw, 2bbl carb, non HP engine.

Can you crank it 2 full revolutions?

If the transmission is good it has some value too

A locked up engine, a 67, not HP 383 not much value
unless someone needs one bad, for a builder

crap shoot not knowing why it's locked up, could be junk

optimistically $500 for both "MAYBE", to a person really needing one

383 aren't rare, you can get running one for $500, not a bad engine

the 727tf trans if rebuildable has a decent value
if it's a manual trans (OP didn't specify what it is), it has more value, especially pieced out
