Hi All,

As I am piecing my 69 be back together from a collection of small parts, what are these two brackets? And where do they attach? Also, the space between the Cowell and the engine bay. Looks like something should go there. Does anything fill this space? The long strip in the picture below. It looks like there are two positions to mount something with a large hole and two small screw holes on either side of whatever that might be.

Thanks!
Mikey

Those brackets go in the corner of the quarter window between the quarter panel and roof rail. They weld in to give that area some added support

That explains why I didn't recognize them.... My car doesn't have them... I don't have a roof.

Thanks. I still need to fully attach/adjust quarter glass, weather stripping, panels, etc.

On the squirters, when I close the hood, it covers that area.. completely. What am I missing?

Also, is there any piece or sheet metal that bolts in to the holes on either side of that long black strip between the cowl and hood?

Thanks,
Mikey

The squirters bolt into the holes at the top of the cowl but they shoot through the fresh air vents in the cowl. There is a rubber strip that clips to the underside of the hood that seals the hood to the top area of the cowl

This might help clarify. From my '70 Charger. The squirters on the ends, 2 metal hose brackets in the middle, and the washer fluid hose from the bottom of the washer bottle.

Cool. Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the replies. Sounds like I have a few small things to pick up, little odds and ends here and there.
