I'm looking for a complete set of shoulder belts for a 67 gtx
My seats are white
Thanks

You can probably buy aftermarket shoulder belts for a 67 B body, but none came from the factory. The color would be black as white interior cars came with black carpet and seatbelts.

Shoulder belts were an available option in 1967. I saw one in a Coronet 500 2dr hdtp in 1976.
There is a code for them.
I was going to try and find an aftermarket kit for a 3-point seat belt. I was wondering how it would mount.

You will definitely have to drill the roof rail and add reinforcement in that area. The other attaching points should be the same as factory.

Please tell me the code. I ordered my first 67 new and the salesman went down the option list item by item. You could be right, but the only thing I learned from this opportunity was that 2 optional tachometers were available in 67. A 6K and a 8K console tachometer. Seatbelts were never mentioned other than the vehicle was equipped with them.

Code 568
I have it showing up on 2 project cars
I think they mounted to the same bolts at rear passenger seat belts

no shoulder belts in 67 .

About 1981 I saw a 67 Coronet with a headrest on the driver seat. Followed the guy and asked him how come only one headrest, then saw the shoulder belts. He said his Uncle ordered the car that way.

That might be a problem. I had those on a list sent to me, or I copied it years ago. It listed so many things. Example left side headrest. Left side headrest.pair of headrests. Seat belts and other things. I will try to dig deep to find it.
Thank you Rd 92 west. Do you have the whole sheet of options.
The belt was fastened to the inner rear seat belt bracket, came over the driver’s shoulder and attached to the front outside lap belt I believe, I don't remember what that looked like.

If you can find that list, I would be very interested in a copy. I knew about the headrests, L, R, or both, and rubber bumper guards F, R, or both. Just never knew anything about optional seatbelts. Thanks for the input. One thing for sure, there are still many mysteries on how Chrysler equipped their cars.

It would be interesting to see a picture of this. Did the shoulder belt have a retractor on it or when unfastened did all the strap just lie loose on the console and seat?

I read on the internet that a person shouldn't believe things they read on the internet.

I found a article featuring a 67 gtx with the shoulder belts. It said this
"Shoulder harness belts, which anchored behind the rear seat and went over the shoulder of the outboard passenger. The straps were 6 ft long and tied into a front mounted floor connector with eye bolts"

Not recoiled up when not in use.
Yes, laying loose.
It would be a colosol PITA in general. And likley not all that helpful upon impact

Years ago, I put a 3-point retractable seatbelt in my 70 Charger. The original seat belt was 3 points, but not retractable. It was two seat belts. Having the setup, I bought was great, it was one seatbelt, and it retracted up above my left shoulder. It simply mounted where the original 3-point belt was. I hope I can do the same for my 67.

Calling on @Imperial One . I believe he once owned a 67 R/T with factory front shoulder belts. They were the strangest looking belts as they anchored between the rear seat bottom and upright cushion. Same general location as the anchors for the rear belts. Very long .

Found the ad. Page 37 in mopars for sale, by member Havasu Dave. Ad was second from top of page. May have moved a page by the time you read. There's a pic and discussion I believe about the shoulder belts.
