Hello everyone,
I have a 1969 Dodge Coronet 500 that runs and drives in all original condition. I've had it for 10 years and the time has come for a full restoration. I welcome any insight or guidance from the members. I asked a fellow vintage muscle car enthusiast for guidance a while back and he said "get a Chevy". Well, nuts to that. I will try to keep updates of my progress throughout the project.

Yo Barry! Welcome from the central coast of Cal. What part of Gator land are you in?

I probably wouldn’t do it. If You send it somewhere get a guaranteed completion date or you may never drive it again. If your planning a DIY restoration I hope you have a lot of time and motivation or you may end up in the same spot.
If it looks decent I recommend a roadstoration. Fix any know drivetrain issues, leaks, new brakes and lines, shocks, ball joints and bushings. Maybe new tires exhaust. Fix or replace interior. Then you can continue to enjoy driving it the entire time.

Looks to be pretty solid 69 Coronet 500
does it have a stroker motor, like you name eludes to,
if so, any details you can share ? or photos

anyway welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Not yet. Just the original 383. I have a 400 block that I plan to stroke to a 512. I admit the name is misleading for now, but as a new member, I found all the cool names have been taken. Plus, I now HAVE to do the stroker or suffer ridicule from the members. Thanks for the reply Budnicks.
