The Demonstrator made it to my 54 year high school reunion, first one it has attended. A few folks remembered it from back in the day. The queen and her court posed with it when I wasn't looking, just posted the photo. In the older photo, they're shown with GTX number five at our 45 year event in 2016.

Went to cars and coffee yesterday. An older gentleman approached me and said he had a few items to give me. I was a little surprised and suspicious. I followed him back to his truck (a 1960s F100). As we walked he explains to me his first "nice" car was a 1968 Road Runner he bought in 1970. That car was his favorite car ever. For his birthday in 1970 his mother made him the road runner embroidery. It's been on the wall in his garage for years. He told me he's starting to give away items here and there, and noticed my road runner from the last months cars and coffee.

Anyhow, he gave me the embroidery and two dealer brochures.

We talked about his rides such as a 1971 GTX, 1973 Charger, and a few other Road Runners. What a great day to meet a new friend. I'm hanging up the embroidery in the garage today as is.

It's on the wall in the garage. I hope to see him at the next cars and coffee. I'd like to get his mother's name.

I did get his name; Bob.
