Probably close to five hundred cubes?
There isn't a Mopar small block on the planet that is close to 500". 440" is about as big as I've ever seen. Most are in the 420"-430" range with a R3 block. If the R3 block is even legal for FAST.

It's been done 15 yrs ago, but forgot about the stock appearing block part

Is engine build so your the top dawg in a class, at least on paper. If the driver is top notch he'll dominate? Excuse my ignorance of class racing today.
In the FAST series it's a heads up fastest car wins( not sure if RT plays a part) where as regular bracket racing is best driver wins.

They partner you up against the closest qualifying e.t. to yours, and then it's the best 2 out of 3 shootout for each pair.

But was it fast? Never saw a timeslip. Too much stroke for that length blck. Brian Wilsey's Duster posted here runs number matching, heads, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, carb, and air cleaner. It's now been 10.186@132.31

That is why I love this class. Almost as impressive as the Drag and Drive guys.

So my pitiful brain for high performance says all that remains to make power and cut great times are:
Porting and polishing...
Balancing and lightinig parts w/out making them weak...
High compression, FWIW
Genius-level cam design to make the most out of the bolded parts-which are a limiting factor.
AND
Lightening the car as much as allowed,
Maximizing off the line traction onwards to at least the 60ft mark.
Still, that's an amazing ET/MPH and WOW! what a KILLER money maker that (or almost ANY F.A.S.T. racer) would be "on the street" or at the track.

Actually, the 8 quickest FAST cars are run off in a pro-ladder elimination format(1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, etc).
Winners of the pairings square off against each other until there is one left standing.
Winner of the quick 8 is the overall winner of the event.

The intake manifolds are so outside the box you wouldn't believe it. Just because its a dual plane on the outside doesn't have a thing to do with it's guts.

F.A.S.T. cars there is nothing stock about them, especially the competitive guys
running sub 10's especially...
"The Real F.A.S.T." participants except the stock appearances'
that's the draw to them, ultimate sleepers, super secretive combos, very competitive too
all manifolds are ported, head are epoxied/ported to bejesus out of them
bigger valve, special 1 off grind camshafts, tricked out flow'd carb/s,
very lil' off the shelf stuff
it may look off the shelf/stock "Appearing" from the exterior,
You can bet your bottom dollar, that it isn't
including the tires they use, they aren't from the local Big O, for damn sure
even if they may be/look like a f-70/15, they aren't... (in size maybe only)
