I'd like to put a tail stripe in my 66. Anyone know where I can get one? Or perhaps tell me if a 68/69 Charger - or other - tail stripe will fit?

Ignore the non-stock wing on this one, but here is a '66 with a non-stock stripe.

IMO any tail stripe on a first generation Charger is disruptive of the flowing aesthetic of the car's fastback styling.

You know, I'm not sure I disagree. I like to experiment and I'm not an "it has to be original" kind of Mopar guy. Nevertheless, your point is solid. But... at the same time, that pic is sick (not a fan of the big wing tho... smaller one, definitely)

Maybe try different designs of stripes going down the length of the car?

Maybe do a NASCAR tribute car?

Getting back to the NASCAR theme, here is David Pearson with his 405 cid, destroked Hemi.

Now that is really cool!
I love the black from the exhuast splattered on the rocker beneath the door.
The front fender opening was massaged quite a bit.
No molding or trim except the front end remains pretty much original.
I wonder if that car still exists?

It appears this one has some thin accent lines on the roof and quarter panel.

Pinstripe along the roof line was an available option I believe.
With a daily driver 66 Charger right beside it.
