I am now Max Wedgeless Charlie! The new owner showed up with his son and a Dakota pick-up Friday night and we loaded most of the extra parts. We will meet up later to deliver the rest. Saturday morning we went through a bit of a cluster to get the title and the Bill Of Sale Notarized. I got and deposited the bank check and the truck showed up at the Walmart parking lot. I took the plates and he got loaded and down the road and was delivered to Ohio this morning.
I had a little fun driving to the Walmart. Do I have Seller's Regret? No, not really. I've been a member of an exclusive club for 40 years and I am now 4 weeks short of 74 so it was time. Two regrets though, never having had it back to the track with the big carburetors and the headers open and never having had it on the Dyno.
What am I onto next? Maybe a '59 Plymouth wagon to play with. I still have the engine and transmission from the one I learned to drive on, a Golden Commando 361 and Cast Iron TorqueFlite or maybe a '65 or '66 Imperial convertible. Maybe I'll restore my late wife's '68 Toyota Corona. Her father bought it new for her and she knew how to drive a stick before I knew how to drive!

Congrats.

Guy that used to be in our club Nick M. has a black and copper 11:1 compression auto Sport Fury. Moved from So Cal to Kentucky. Is his one of the 7 identical car you mentioned?

Maybe, I was going by Darrell Davis's source book. Yes, I sat there going through the Sport Fury VIN and option list one day! What got me started was somebody on either fleabay or Bring A Trailer said there were 10 Sport Fury Maxes with Copper and Black interior and I called him on it but got no reply! We can play Marti Report or Corvette owner too!

It was in Mopar Muscle or another mopar magazine about 20 years ago. Fully restored.

Originally a So Cal car. Los Angeles area.

@RR Fan Dan Um, sad, um no. I didn't NEED to sell the car, I WANTED to sell the car. I'm happy I sold the car. Years ago I would tell people that when I was dead it would go to my kid but I decided that I could use the money now. The sad part are the guys in the last three years that said they REALLY wanted the car but never stepped up. Or the the guy that made an offer but never made good on it. Or the guys that saw it at Carlisle and never stepped up.
I have all these things I've wanted to do from travel to my hobbies to charities and now I can. Sad? No!

Yeah, from 1968 when the car was new! And yes in the background of the one with my wife when she was 16 or 17 there is a '68 Town and Country! Unfortunately the car sat in a field for too long but has been inside for about 30 years. I will have current pictures later.

Saw your Sport Fury at Carlisle, such a great car.
59 Plymouth wagon would be very cool.
Any late 50s Forward Look is cool, and depending on condition can be a bear to put back together.
Reminds me, I need to get back on my 58 Coronet.
Congrats on your next chapter.
